The Holy Land
“Increasingly in adverts for tours and articles about Israel we find the country being referred to as ‘The Holy Land.’ This is rather sad because it is far from being holy at present and we suspect it is only referred to as such, to avoid mentioning the name Israel. The term ‘holy land’ is only mentioned once in the Bible in Zechariah 2:12 and that in prophecy, ‘And the LORD shall inherit Judah His portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.’ On the other hand the name Israel is mentioned 2565 times in the Bible and exclusively used by the LORD Jesus to refer to the land of Israel. Those who claim to follow Him should do likewise.”
Article, The Holy Land, is from the "Lamp & Light Magazine" which is published by "The Society for Distributing Hebrew Scriptures"
